Return, Refund & Exchange Policy

If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with a purchase, we invite you to review our policy on return and exchange. The following terms are applicable for any products that you’ve purchased from us.

Interpretation and Definitions

The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in the plural:

For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

  • “Company” (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Meraki by Anchal
  • “Goods”, “items”, “products” refers to the items offered for sale.
  • “Orders” means a request by you to purchase goods from us.
  • “Website” refers to merakibyanchal.com, accessible from https://merakibyanchal.com
  • “You” means the individual accessing or using the service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the service, as applicable.


Order Cancellation and refund.

  • We do not offer order cancellation as our products are MADE TO ORDER, which means the orders will be customized as per your size and will be a total waste for us in case of return.
  • We humbly request all customers to kindly check all details and clear all doubts thoroughly before placing any order(s).
  • We do try our best to deliver your orders timely, however, sometimes, delivery may take longer due to unforeseen circumstances and order cancellation will not be considered. In such cases, you may however reach out to us for mutual solutions.
  • In cases where you have placed duplicate orders or placed order(s) by mistake, you can request an order cancellation request at support@merakibyanchal.com but the actual refund and cancellation rights are still reserved with the company.
  • We will reach out and discuss a refund and order cancellation if for any reason we’re unable to deliver you your order(s). We however, will not be able to provide any compensation for the mental agony caused due to any order cancellation or delays.


Return and exchange:

At Merakibyanchal, we have a 7 (can this be 2 days) days return and exchange policy only in cases of manufacturing defects (Read our “Guidelines for a valid return/exchange” section (meraki to provide link here)) for return within 7 days after receiving the products. These are as follows:

  • wrong products (incorrect style) - which means that you have received a different product or style than what you have originally ordered.
  • wrong sizes (size other than that ordered) - this means that you have received product(s) of wrong size; a size that you haven’t ordered.
  • Stitching defects: You have received a product which have stitching defects like unmatched threads/lining being used, missing finishing/trims/buttons etc or print abnormality throughout the outfit,


The following issues will not be considered for returns and exchange:

  • Fitting/Measurement issues: If you have fitting issues with the product size that you have ordered, it will not be returned or exchanged. We strongly emphasize that you must clarify your doubts about sizing and size charts before placing the orders as our products are made to order. Also, we leave margins up to 5 inches so that you can get it altered if need be.
  • Bad quality/bad fabric/bad material: We strongly recommend you clarify all fabric/material details before placing an order. We use fine quality fabrics/materials to produce our goods and do a thorough quality check. And again, our products are made to order so the exchange and return in such cases is not possible. You can however exercise your right to send us feedback with video and photo proofs of the mentioned issues. We’ll definitely look into it and audit the authenticity of the proof to make any decisions.
  • Color/print variation: Any complaints/concerns about color or print variation will not be eligible for return/exchange. The original color/print can always vary a little due to lightning/positioning of the product during photography/videography and due to viewing on different devices. We strongly recommend keeping this common sense in mind and clarify such details before placing the orders.

In order to exercise your right of exchange in any case, you must inform us by means of clear videos, pictures and explanation of what exactly the issue is. Our team will verify and get back to you.

Special cases: (24-48 hours)

There are cases where you may claim that a product is completely/partly damaged, and we treat them under special cases to review for exchange. We’ll need thorough proofs to verify such cases. Such cases can be:

  • Product(s) have cuts, burns, holes, dirt marks etc
  • Product(s) is torn.
  • Product(s) is semi-stitched or not fully stitched.


What proofs should you have if your purchase fall under special cases?:

We need proofs to ensure the complete honesty of the claims as we have had many cases where it is found that the customers aren't being truthful due to their own personal reasons and expect businesses to bear the losses

  • Please ensure that you have a clear video of unpackaging the products from start to the finish, especially for cut and torn claims (additionally, if you’re buying for the first time, this is highly recommended)
  • An already torn packaging at the start of filming will not be considered as legit proof. The unpacking has to be fresh.


Guidelines for a valid return/exchange (especially in cases of wrong style/size products):

  • All product tags intact and in their original packaging
  • Products must be unused.
  • Products must be in an unwashed and in undamaged condition. Any dirt mark or cuts will be subject to reject in exchange/return.
  • The exchange request to be generated within 2 days of receiving the product.


Steps ahead:

We will send you a confirmation email as soon as we receive the shipment at our warehouse and it passes our quality check.

After receiving the returned product, we will do a quality check of the product at our end. If the picked-up product does not pass the quality check, we will ship it back to you. We reserve the right to refuse returns of any products that do not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.

Returns and exchange are done free of cost if you pass the eligibility criteria; however, in cases where it is discussed that you are bearing the cost of shipping, then you will be responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us and we cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We will also be unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.
